For my weekly challenge, I decided to use an image that makes me think about the dialogue within an image, about the meaning and usage of detail. Can the viewer look beyond the image, especially in photography, beyond the details, the technique, the subject matter and see something else artistically without being asked to do so?
I took a series of photos deliberately out of focus, to concentrate on the composition, the color, the movement. Sometimes getting lost in the details, means losing the details. Like the saying “You can’t see the forest for the trees” my photo lets you see the whole rather than the individual. Opinions?
Challenging our viewpoint or point of view ~ what at first appears simple becomes complex the details emerge within the color movements appearing like sunlight through the leaves of a tree
Each time I look at the image you have presented us it dazzles its complexity and draws me into the world created by this image so lovely! I could live with this to view each time I woke to view it again with new eyes. Thank you! xoxoxo
That is just beautiful!!!! Thank you!
Happy March!!!!
Gorgeous bokeh!
Thank you!!
I love what you created here. Intentional abstraction and it’s great.
Thanks very much! I like it too. I am going to get some printed and see how they look~~
